"Achieving Our Dreams through Education"
2018
Welcome to 2018! I hope everyone enjoyed their break and was able to do something meaningful with family and friends. The new year brings with it hope, renewal and the opportunity to grow and look forward to a better things. It also brings with it the chance to practice gratitude for the previous years experiences and blessings, some of which are in disguise. I heard it said once that a proud person only has things to complain about, while a person with humility is able to recognize all the blessings that have been given. My hope is that all of us at Crow School continue to enjoy what we are doing and that we experience even more success in achieving our goals.
I am truly thankful to be able to work with all of you here at CAPS.

What Teachers Said This Week:
5. “Students need to see themselves as innovators. Teachers must educate students about historical change-makers of all races, genders, and backgrounds so that ALL students can find STEM role models who will inspire them.” Principal, Pennsylvania
4. “It's time for STEM to focus on renewable energy, restoring our planet, and holistic health initiatives. Our technological and mathematically gifted students must focus on creating a sustainable and healthy planet." Teacher, New Mexico
3. “Visuals are SO important--students need to be able to put THEMSELVES in the picture.” Teacher, Washington
2. “As we begin to address traditional curricula through an equity lens that purposefully integrates different cultures, it's hoped that integration of STEM into those areas would automatically make it more inclusive.” Teacher, Colorado
1. “As an English teacher, STEM degree holder, and a grad of a STEM high school, I think it's vital that we don't isolate STEM. In the 'real world', the humanities and STEM work together.” Teacher, New Jersey
