This chemical is a colorless, orderless, sryupy liquid that is mildly toxic. It was first discovered in 1856 by Charles Adolphe Wurtz in France. It is mildly toxic and is sweet tasting so it is very dangerous for kids.
Uses of Chemical
Most commonly used in antifreeze, Ethylene Glycol however is used in more than one ways. It is a dewatering agent for getting water molecules out of natural gases and is a raw material used in the manufacture of polyester fibers. Lastly it is used in the chiller in air conditioners that are located outside.
