Horseshoe Hop
Tonight is our annual Horseshoe Hop from 6:00-7:30 pm! It will be a fun night of fun and dancing. Thanks to the overwhelming support you showed for the Fun Run, this will be a FREE event. There will be pizza available to purchase for $1 per slice. All students, regardless of age, need to be accompanied by an adult. You are welcome to bring any final donations for the Food Drive as well.
Middleton's Got Talent
Middleton's in person talent show is back!
- When: Friday April 14
- We will have three performances (two assemblies and one evening show for families)
- Auditions: Wednesday March 22 & Thursday March 23, directly after school for 30-60 minutes! (Parents will need to pick up after auditions)
- Applications will be available in classrooms or on the day of auditions.
- All types of acts are welcome! (Magic, Dance, Sing, Instruments, Skits, Poems, Martial Arts, Jokes, etc.)
- Prepare to show off your amazing talent within a 1-3 minute time frame.

Middleton Carnival
We are excited to bring back our annual Middleton Carnival this spring on May 19th! If you are interested in serving on the carnival planning committee, please join up at the PAC Meeting/Open House on Thursday, March 9th at 6:00 pm in the Middleton Cafeteria.
Character Trait of the Month: Courage
March's Character Trait of the Month is courage. Courage is being afraid and doing it anyway. It takes a lot of courage these days for students to learn to be bold and be brave. Let’s find ways to teach our kids to be Courageous, they learn by example. If you need resources please reach out to PAC Volunteer Coordinator Melissa Horton at gmpschorton@gmail.com.
Volunteering
There are many opportunities to volunteer at Middleton. All volunteers will need to a) complete a background check and b) submit a proof of vaccination or receive approval for a vaccination exception.
- Background checks are completed online: Background Check Forms. Background checks may take up to 10 days to process.
- Proof of vaccination are submitted to the Middleton front office in person or via email (mwunnicke@sherwood.k12.or.us). This can be done on the first day of volunteering. Vaccination exception forms, if needed, can be found here: Medical Exception Request or Religious Exception Request. Completed exception forms are emailed to Steve Emmert at semmert@sherwood.k12.or.us. Exceptions may take up to 14 days to process.
