Perkiomen Valley Athletics
Week of August 22
Fall Sports
With the tryouts completed and scrimmages last week, fall sports is in full swing. In fact, boys' golf had two matches last week. We defeated Dock Mennonite and Delco Christian and the boys are off to a 3-0 start. Andrew Brendlinger, Shea Fusco, and Ayush Patel played well for us this week. Congratulations to our cheerleaders on finishing first for the overall game day performance at the UCA cheer camp. If you would like to see our cheerleaders in action, we have our first home football game Friday, August 26 as we take on Penn Wood in Thomas J. Keenan Stadium. We have many other sports starting this week as girls tennis, girls soccer, boys soccer, girls golf, field hockey, and volleyball all start with their first regular season events this week. Good luck to all of our athletes and coaches.
If you are interested in season passes for our events, please see the information in the newsletter below. Also included in this newsletter is the preview for our middle school coaches. Middle School football starts today and all of our other middle school sports practices start August 29. We are still in need of a Middle School East Volleyball coach so if you have any interest, please reach out to me so we are able to get things started on Monday.
Sincerely,
Robert L. Felty Jr.
Athletic Director
