Ski Club Information
The following information is being provided to students who are interested in becoming a member of Ski Club. Chateaugay Central School provides transportation and supervision for 8 trips to Titus Mountain. Please feel free to contact Bruce Gugliotta and Karen Swanston for further information.
Rentals:
Ski and boots: $9.00
Board and Boots: $9.00
Lift Tickets: $19.00 for each night trip
Saturday Lift Lesson Rental = $40 Lift $27
Departure: 3:30 at front bus circle entrance. Ski storage available in the morning and before leaving.
Return: BE ON THE BUS BY 9:00!!! Tell your parents that the bus will return to school by 9:30 PM at the visitors entrance (Please be prompt!)
Behavior: You are responsible for your own materials. You are expected to behave well and follow Titus Mountain and Chateaugay Central’s rules. If behavior is a problem, you could be sent home and not allowed to go again. You should always ski with a buddy. If you do not have a buddy, tell an advisor and we will ski with you or assign you a group.
If you violate the student athletic/club agreement you may not be allowed on the next ski trip. You are also expected to be in school on the Friday following a Thursday night trip.
Lessons: Everyone is required to take a lesson for the first ski trip. If your parents think you have enough experience, they could write a note giving you permission to ski without the lesson; however it is OUR final say. We want to keep you, and OTHER skiers safe.
Food: You are responsible for your own meal while at Titus. You know your own appetite better than we could advise, but kids generally spend between $8 - $15 dollars to eat and drink. You may bring a lunch with you, but you are responsible for it.
Thank you for your support!

Small Moment Stories
Our third grade students have been working on writing small moment stories. Hailey Reome and Gage Finnell from Mrs. Thomas's class shared their stories with administration. The boys and girls have been focusing on improving their conventions of writing. Keep up the good work third graders!
