Need LBHS Spirit Gear?
Schedule Pick-up/ Business Days are coming soon!
- Pick up 2022-2023 student schedules
- Apply for a 2022-2023 LBHS Parking Pass
- Complete Power School Registration (Back to School Forms)
- Complete Free and Reduced Lunch Applications
- Pay fees (Class, Chromebook Insurance, Lost Textbook, Dual Enrollment, etc)
- Load money on your student’s lunch account
- Become an LBHS PTSO and/or CAC Member
- Purchase LBHS Gear from the Booster Club
Do you have a rising freshman?
- Student drop off at the lower entrance by 8:30 am
- LBHS Orientation, Tour, and Club Fair
- Parents park in the upper lot to attend a parent meeting at 8:40 am
- Freshmen Parent Meeting in the Auditorium 8:40 – 9:40 am
- LBHS Orientation Information
- LBHS PTSO and Cavalier Athletic Club Memberships will be available
- Student pick up at the lower entrance at 11:30 am
Parent Welcome Letter
2022-2023 Annual Registration Forms are now open!
See the message below that went out from BCPS on Thursday, July 21 through school messenger.
We are excited for the start of the 2022-23 school year and look forward to seeing students on Wednesday, August 10! Annual registration forms, which are required each year for each student, are now available for parents to complete through the BCPS Parent Portal. After logging in:
Select Forms in the navigation menu on the left
Select the form named "1 Student Information" form to begin
Complete/Verify all fields
Select Submit in the lower right of screen
Repeat this process for each form
If you have multiple children in the division, complete these steps for each child. Select your next child's name in the upper left, and follow steps 1-5 to complete their annual registration.
If you are new to the division or have any questions, reach out to your child's school for additional assistance.
BCPS Nutrition Free/Reduced Meal Information:
- The application for Free/Reduced Meals will be available starting on Monday, July 11th on the BCPS Nutrition Free/Reduced Meal Applications and Resources Page.
- All families are STRONGLY encouraged to fill out the application regardless of whether they believe they qualify or not, as the income guidelines and other determining factors change on an annual basis.

- These applications are completed on an annual basis and paper applications are available upon request.
BCPS Transportation updates are provided below.
- Routes should be viewable by August 1st, 2022. Click on this bus information link to view your child's bus information. Let us know if any changes need to be made.
- Student Notes are reinstated this school year for students riding home to a stop different than his/her regular stop
- Students must bring a signed note from his/her parent verifying that permission is granted
- Students must bring the notes to the AP Office upon arrival at school.
- Permission will not be granted by Transportation Office directly, nor by individual bus drivers except in emergency situations

Join Us for a Summer Reading Celebration!
Simply read and log at least one book this summer in the "Read Beyond the Beaten Path" Challenge in Beanstack.
Create an account in Beanstack on the app or on a computer by going to https://botetourtva.beanstack.org/
Join the "Read Beyond the Beaten Path" Challenge
Record the book(s) you read under the Logging Badge by August 12, 2022.
You only have to log one book to be invited to our LB Reads school celebration. If you log additional titles, your name will be entered in a prize drawing at our school celebration
If you are unable to log your book in Beanstack, please track your reading on this paper log and turn it in to Mrs. Lively in the library by 8-12.

Important School Dates:
July 25 and 26: LBHS Touchdown Club Youth Football Camp from 6:00 to 8:30
July 25: First day of golf practice
July 28: First day of football and cheerleading practice
August 1: First day of cross country and volleyball practice.
July 28: Business Day from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the LBHS Cafeteria
August 4: Business Day and Open House from 1:00 to 4:00 PM
August 9: Freshmen Transition Program from 8:30-11:30. Please drop your child off at the lower lobby entrance at the back of the school and pull around front to the parking lot and the parent meeting, which will be held at 8:40.
August 10: First day of school for students
August 12: Summer Reading Deadline
September 5: No School for Students/ Labor Day
