- Feet asks, "What footprints are you leaving online?"
- Legs asks, "How do you stand up for people you care about?"
- Head asks, "How do you know something you see or hear is true?"
Halloween Parade and Sing-a-long 🎃
Halloween parades are a tradition at the Daniel Warren School. The sing-a-long/parade at Daniel Warren will begin at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31st. Classes will participate in a parade around the performance area in the field and then a sing-a-long. You are welcome to sing-a-long with the children from the assigned locations on the schematic below. Please adhere to these locations behind the cones.
Children are invited to come to school in their costume at arrival, or send it to school in a labeled bag for them to change into after lunch/recess. Classroom parties will take place during the day, prior to the parade, and will be coordinated directly with each class parent and teacher.
Costume Tips:
Costumes should be - safe, not floor sweeping, with no masks that block their vision.
They should also be appropriate, non-violent, and not frightening to the younger children. No swords, knives, sticks or guns will be permitted on school grounds.
Please be sure the costume is comfortable to wear for the entire day, if they come to school dressed in it.
If they are changing into costume at school, please be sure they can do this with minimal assistance.
If you are bringing siblings, please keep them with you, as the playground is closed during the parade and sing-a-long. When the event is finished, please kindly leave the school grounds so we can prepare for dismissal.
Should it rain, students only will celebrate with an indoors parade.
Let’s hope for beautiful weather! Bring your cameras!
