RBHS BRIDGE Communication
Newsletter from Rock Bridge High School
Sunday, March 29
I hope you are taking a moment to enjoy this beautiful last day of Spring Break. As you are aware, the City of Columbia and Boone County have issued a stay-at-home order that extends through April 24th. Under this current order, Columbia Public Schools has pushed back our return to school date to Monday, April 27.
Tomorrow will be the official beginning of Rock Bridge's distance learning. Many of you have already received communication from teachers regarding learning expectations for the coming week. Please contact staff directly with any questions you may have. You can find each teacher's email address in the Virtual Learning Resources section of our Rock Bridge website (see link below). You should also feel free to contact your counselor or administrator with any questions or needs you may have during this uncertain time.
In the interest of staying connected and keeping everyone informed, I plan to send a weekly newsletter throughout the duration of our closure. I understand you will be inundated with electronic communication during this time and do not wish to add to anyone's stress level. Please view these newsletters at your leisure. When/if communication is urgent, I will send a separate email.
I will also continue to communicate through social media channels. Please follow me on Twitter at @JacobSirna and on Instagram at rbhsprincipal if you are interested. I will use these accounts to share resources, celebrate all things RBHS (#RockBridgeRocks), and communicate changes in these uncertain times.
I wish you all good health.
