Congratulations and Thanks
Congratulations to Mr. Echegaray-
I just wanted to do a quick share with all of you what my family celebrated last Wednesday!
My husband officially became a US Citizen after living in the US permanently for 20+ years!!! There were 117 people from 44 different countries that took their citizenship oath today! It was very moving and you could see the pride on their faces!
Congratulations to Dahlia Valencia-Zepeda-mother of Hector, Andrea, Jose, and Camila-as she also became US Citizen last Wednesday!
Congratulations to the 2022-23 Student Council

News
Alumni Scholarship applications are going home with all Middle School students today. Students have the opportunity to apply for up to 5 different Alumni Scholarships at this time.
Applications are due on Tuesday, September 27 by 8:30 AM.
There is no school on Friday, September 30 as we will hold Parent-Teacher conferences. Some teachers will schedule all conferences on Friday, others will have some times available before and after school prior to the 30th. If you have not heard from your child's teacher, reach out for dates and times to schedule.
There is a Parent Meeting on Thursday, September 22, at 6:15 p.m. in Duffey Hall (school café) for all parents who have a 2nd grader or above registered to receive First Reconciliation & Eucharist. At this meeting, we will discuss the program and the commitments that are required. Children will make their First Reconciliation during Advent, and First Communion will be Sunday, April 30, 2023. At least one parent should attend this meeting.
Baptism is required to receive these sacraments. If you have not had your child baptized, please contact Peggy Clegg in the parish office at 317-357-8352 or email pclegg@littleflowerparish.org. You will need to attend a Baptism Class prior to your child’s baptism. The next class will be on Monday, November 7, at 7 p.m. in the parish center. We would like all baptisms completed by January 2023. We are here to help you in this process and are very excited to be a part of this journey of faith for you and your child. If you have any questions about the program, please contact Lisa at 317-357-8352 ext. 105, or email lgibbons@littleflowerparish.org.

We will examine the quote- "If you want something you've never had, you have to do something you've never done" and discuss setting and reaching goals.
