First Grade O.C. Taylor
September 8-11
A Highlight from Week 2
OCT is officially 1:1
First Grade's first featured app is PicCollage.
PicCollage is THE coolest collage-maker in town! Students use PicCollage to combine photos, Youtube videos, funky fonts, sassy stickers and cutouts to create the coolest collages to show off things they have learned. It is a great Formal Assessment Tool for us to check for mastery in a way the kids love.
Cafeteria
Lunch Restrictions
Last week you received a calendar that contained the lunch menus for the entire school year. In the back of the calendar, is a page that you can detach and select any restriction(s) that you would like to place on your child’s ordering (snacks only on Fridays, no extras.) Please complete this page and return it, if you wish to place any restrictions on your child’s lunch account.
Volunteers
We need reading volunteers this year! In order to be a volunteer, you must have attended the Volunteer Orientation and completed the criminal background check. All volunteers are required to reapply each year.
