A Note From the Principal

Hello River Hawk Families,

We apologize for the inconvenience regarding attendance this morning. Everything has now been corrected and is accurately reflected in Infinite Campus. You may need to refresh your browser to see your student's attendance accurately.

This week on Wednesday, all 8th graders will have their hearing screened as required by the state. Thursday is our PTSA General Association Meeting and all are welcome. It will be held in the MPR at 8:45 a.m. We will have a special panel to answer questions about junior high and junior high aged students. On the panel will be our SRO, Deputy Gonzales, our Assistant Principal, Ms. August, one of our counselors and one of our teachers. Please join us for this special event at our PTSA meeting. Doors to the MPR will open at 8:30 a.m. Finally, our winter dance is a semi-formal event this coming Friday, December 9th from 5-7 p.m. See details & attire guidelines below.

We had a fantastic night of music from our Beginning Guitar Class and our River Hawk Band at their winter concert last night. They did a great job and should be proud of themselves. This coming Tuesday, please join our choir as they combine with Valencia's Choirs in the Valencia High School Theater at 7 p.m. for their winter performance.

We hope the much needed rain is bringing holiday winter cheer, despite the extra traffic it always creates! Stay warm, safe, and dry out there.
