Keep Going Keep Growing
A MESSAGE FROM MRS. ANDERSON
Dear Bobcat Families:
During this time of Thanksgiving, I want to share my gratitude and thank you for being such an important part of our children’s lives.
We are grateful for the teachers, assistants, secretaries, support staff, tutors, health aides, interns, nutrition staff, coordinators, counselors, youth relations deputies, and administrators, who care about student success and have the best interests of our students at heart. We see dedicated and hard-working individuals going above and beyond to make sure great things happen at Eden Park!
We are most thankful for our students who come to school every day ready to learn. Your children give us all a daily reminder of what is important and why we are here. We are also thankful for the support of our parents and guardians who help to create an outstanding partnership for our students. Thank you for trusting Eden Park Elementary with your child every day.
Finally, if you haven’t already done so, please consider sharing with us what you are thankful for at Eden Park. Your answers will be shared with our staff on the Friday prior to our Fall Break.

We hope to see you at our Thanksgiving luncheon on Thursday November 17th during your child’s lunch time.
I wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving break!
In partnership,

In collaboration with Benison Center, we are excited to enter all community members who attend our SAC meeting into a donation raffle drawing. We look forward to seeing who will walk out of the meeting with a prize.
The agenda will be published our school website under About Us- School Advisory Council (SAC) https://www.collierschools.com/Page/6981
Attendance Matters
One of our Wildly Important Goals (WIGs) is for all students and staff to be at school all day, every day. Our Attendance Ambassadors are tracking the weekly attendance percentage of their classes on the school-wide scoreboard. The class in each grade level with the highest percentage for the week earns the Attendance Leaders of the Week trophy and certificate to display in their room.
205 students had perfect attendance for the month of October! Students with perfect and zero tardies earn a special luncheon on the stage each month. Hope to see you there next month!

Classroom Celebrations
- Fall Festival
- Winter Holiday
- Valentine’s Day
- End of Year
On the classroom celebration days, refreshments and treats must be store bought. Treats/refreshments are not permitted to be brought into the building for dates other than the four celebrations listed above. Each classroom teacher acknowledges a child’s birthday in various ways. In all cases, children are recognized on their special day. Birthday parties will not be held at school.
To help avoid disruption of activities, we ask that you refrain from having flowers or balloons delivered to your child at school. These items cannot be transported by bus, nor delivered to the classroom during school hours.
