· If you have applied or will apply to Common App member schools, you will need to match your Common App account to your Naviance account by following these steps:
o Logging into Family Connection. http://connection.naviance.com/lchsca
o Clicking the Colleges tab.
o Clicking Colleges I'm Applying To.
o The Common App Account Matching screen is displayed at the top of the page. A student is eligible to complete the Common App Account Matching process if they have:
o Created a Common App account on Common App.
o Added at least one college on Common App.
o Signed the Common App FERPA Release Authorization on Common App.

· STEP College Advisory Workshops: Sept. 23- Oct. 29
· Sept 21-Nov. 6: Students may make their final college appointment with their counselor to request the counselor letter of rec, aka “Secondary School Report.” Sign-up for your appt. in the front office. For quick questions, please continue to use the clipboards to sign up or do a walk-in at lunch!
· Early Action/Early Decision Due Dates: Check Naviance! Most are Nov. 1-15, but it can be earlier in some cases. It is your responsibility to know your deadlines!
· UC Application Submission: 11/1-11/30
· CSU Applications: 10/1-11/30
· USC Scholarship Deadline: 12/1
· SAT and ACT testing must be completed by December for college admissions:

STEP College Advisory Workshops This Week
Workshops will take place this Wednesday and Thursday (Sept 30 and Oct. 1) in the IRC. Students MUST sign up in advance via Naviance by going to the College Visits section and registering for a workshop of their choice. The STEP options for this week are as follows:
