Principal Search - Parent Input session

From the office of the Area Superintendent

Penny Road Parents and Community Members,

The make-up date for the parent input session is Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 5:30 PM in the media center. It is very important to Dr. Thompson to be present for the input session and to hear the characteristics that are wanted for a new principal. If you are unable to attend, you are still welcome to email your thoughts on characteristics to cmukherjee@wcpss.net.

Cindy Mukherjee

Administrative Assistant for Dr. Ashlie Thompson - Southwestern Area Superintendent

Sweetheart Dance - Volunteers Needed!

With the 1st Sweetheart Dance right around the corner, we need your help to make this event a fun one for students and their (grown-up) sweethearts. Please check out the slots available and join us. Just one hour of your time would make a difference! Thank you!

Penny Road’s Annual Spring Carnival is May 11, 2018!

This year’s Spring Carnival is called Penny’s Beach Blast! Even though Carnival is not until May our committee is already hard at work putting together the event. The committee works on admissions, entertainment, games, food, sponsors, donations, and volunteers for the event. We are looking for more volunteers to help out! The first Carnival planning meeting is on Wednesday, January 31 at 9:15 am in the conference room. If you have questions or are interested in joining us, please contact Spring Carnival chairs Denise Rose deniseandjeffrose@yahoo.com or Jennifer Greco jafiori@hotmail.com

Teacher Luncheon

The next teacher luncheon will be the “Souper Bowl!” On Friday, February 2, all the teachers will represent their favorite football team and can judge the best soup or chili cooked by none other than our Penny Road Parents. This luncheon will be completely parent donated - and we know that we have some men out there with some awesome chili recipes too, so make sure that they know about the contest!

We will be asking for soups, chili & salads along with desserts and drinks. Please be thinking about what you would able to bring.
