- Tornado-The tornado most form from thunderstorms ;They need warm moist air from the Gulf Coast Of Mexico and cold dry air from Canada.When these two air masses meet they create instability in the atmosphere
- Hurricanes-They form near the equator over warm ocean waters.Actually, the term hurricane is used only for the large storms that form over the Atlantic Ocean or Eastern Pacific Ocean. The generic scientific term for these storms,wherever they occur is a tropical cyclone.

Gulf Coast Prairie and marshes have soil like aid sands, sandy loams, clay. ( Sandy loams and clay occur in river bottoms.)
