A Note from Mr. Ritter
What an awesome first full week! Students are falling nicely into their daily routines and overall, things are off to a very smooth start. Looking ahead, we will continue our work on teaching kids what it looks like, sounds like and feels like to give their Bailey Best and treat others with kindness and respect both inside and outside of the building. Next week, we will also being holding grade level Town Hall Meetings to continue sharing about what it means to do your Bailey Best, introduce our Bulldog of the Month program and roll out our first building wide theme (respect) for the month of September!
I also wanted to share a way for families to recognize staff members who go above and beyond within our school community. The form, which is included below will be in every Friday newsletter moving forward. Also, do not forget about the important role that our related arts teacher, intervention specialist and other support staff that are part of our AMAZING team!

Birthday Treat Policy Reminder!
Just a friendly reminder that our district Wellness Policy prohibits edible birthday treats to be brought in for student birthday celebrations. Pencils, stickers, erasers or classroom book or game donations are acceptable. Thank you for your attention to this reminder!
Riding Home with Friends on the Bus
The Bailey Fun Run!
The Bailey Bulldog Fun Run/Social/Ball Drop presented by Ohio ENT is right around the corner! Join us Friday, September 23 for a fun community event.
Food trucks, race packet pickup and DJ/social will begin at 5:30pm, followed by the races at 6:15. We will have a One Lap Fun Run for ages 5 and under, followed by a 20 minute Fun Run for all ages.
We will also have a Golf Ball Drop sponsored by Carrie Everingham Cutler Real Estate. The Dublin Fire Department will send one of their fire trucks for this great event. There will cash and other fun prizes! This year we also have a competition going between classes to see which class can sell the most golf balls - winner gets a SURPRISE PRIZE!!! Our goal is to break last years’ record of 500 golf balls!
Registration (with guaranteed race tee shirt) is up and running! Registration fees go up September 9th.

Protect Your Students with the Drug Take Back
With the school year beginning, ensure you create a risk-free environment at home for your students and their friends. Dispose of unwanted, unused medications on Saturday, Aug. 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Dublin Justice Center. What to drop off at the Drug Take Back.
Syntero Program
Syntero will be hosting an Overdose Prevention Informational Session and Community Training on Aug. 31 from 6-7 p.m. All community members are invited to attend this free event, which will provide education, resources and conversation around community efforts to challenge the Opioid Epidemic impacting Central Ohio communities. The event will be held at Syntero’s Dublin location (299 Cramer Creek Court, Dublin, OH 43017), but virtual participation is also available. Click here to register.
