Hockey players need milk to keep their muscles strong. Milk is a great after-game drink. Players need to stay hydrated when they play hockey and milk can help.

When you come off the ice from a hard shift your heart rate can be as high as 200 beats per minute. You shouldn't go back on the ice unless your heart rate is 120 beats or less per minute. Milk helps your heart beat slow down quickly.
