PLEASE NOTE:
Early/Late Kinder and Early/Late 1st graders will begin on Monday, August 22.
Teachers will use the assessment data and reach out to their families directly to let them know which group their child will be assigned to.
Kinder/1st Grade Early/Late Schedule: The determination of which students are placed in either the early or late literacy schedule will be based on observation and assessment data collected by the teachers during the first two weeks of school. Because of this extensive placement process, we will do our best to consider sibling alignment. However, we will not be able to honor early/late literacy groups based on parent requests unless there is a documented medical necessity.
A Vista Grande Tradition for our TK and Kindergarten Students
August 9: TK & Kindergarten: Ice Cream Social
- 3:00 PM in MPR or Main Courtyard
This special event is a way for your child to enjoy getting to know other students and their teacher/s prior to the first day of school.

We would like to invite our students and their families for some time on campus to enjoy getting to meet one another for either the first time or reconnect for those returning.
*This is not a drop off opportunity. Families must supervise their own children as staff will not be part of this playdate opportunity.
Please be mindful of the dates and specific start and end times per grade level.
TK & Kinder: Wednesday 8/3 from 9:00-10:30 on the TK/Kinder playground
1st Grade: Wednesday 8/3 from 10:30-12:00 on the big playground
2nd & 3rd Grade: Thursday 8/4 from 9:00-10:30 on the big playground
4th & 5th Grade: Thursday 8/4 from 10:30-12:00 on the big playground
Access the TK/Kinder playground at the front gate next to their playground
Access the Big playground through the gate at the back of the staff parking lot
Please DO NOT PARK in the STAFF PARKING LOT
Important:
Teachers and staff may be working on campus as they are preparing for the beginning of the school year. If you see a teacher or staff member, feel free to wave but please let them keep working. Please respect their time as they prepare for the beginning of the school year!
