Chesterfield-Colonial Heights Christmas Mother Program

The Chesterfield-Colonial Heights Christmas Mother Program consists of 60+ volunteers and was begun in 1972. Its mission is to ensure that in our community, no family is without food, no child is without toys, books and clothing, and no elder is forgotten as we celebrate the holidays. In December 2017 we served over 4500 individuals through invaluable partnerships with community individuals, groups, and businesses.

Invitation - K - 2nd grade

Avery Schwarz, Senior at James River High School in the Leadership and International Relations Specialty Center would like to invite Grange Hall students in Kindergarten - 2nd grade to a Father/Daughter Dance (any Parent/Guardian is welcome to attend with their child) benefiting the Crohns and Colitis Foundation. Avery's Capstone Project is focused on this foundation because she has a family member who battles Colitis daily and it is her goal to educate and bring awareness to the people in our local community on these diseases. The hope for her event is to provide an outlet for the community to become involved in an organization that strives to provide a better quality of life for Crohns and Colitis patients as well as providing funding, from the ticket sales, to go towards research and finding a cure.

Dance the Night Away

6:30 - 8:30 pm

James River High School

Tickets - $10.00
