Hello Holland Elementary Parents,
The quality teaching and learning that takes place at HES each makes our school special. These wouldn't be possible without the support of the Holland PTO. In the fall, the PTO purchased 60 Chromebooks and two charging carts for the students. Due to the high demand and usage of the Chromebooks, the PTO is helping to fund 64 more for the children. The Holland PTO recently made a donation to purchases these, and this will allow more time for the children to be involved in research, presentations, and sharing of their work on Google Classrooms. Your support of PTO programs can help provide a full school experience for your child, but it also allows the PTO to fund effective initiatives like this that enhance teaching and learning. Thank you.
HES Proud!
Last Friday, our students wore their Travis Manion Foundation t-shirts proudly and created Jared Boxes for young patients at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. The boxes symbolize the importance of play and were filled with well wishes, hope, and love. The students created over 180 boxes! This would not have been possible without the donations from families - thank you! Check out the pictures below from that activity.
