Ingredients Of Nationalism
Nationalities must be preset in order to jump start this concept of nationalism and they must integrate the items below.
1. Defined territory
2. Common cultural characteristics (language, customs, and literature)
3. A common government
4.Common origin (History)
5. A love or esteem (to cherish) of fellow nationals
6. A devotion to the nation, which embodies the items listed above
7. A common pride in the achievements of the nation
8. A hope that the nation will have a great and glorious futureSelf-Determination and Centripetal Force
Centripetal Force.
Centripetal forces can unify a state. It can result in providing stability, strengthening, and bind together the people of the nation. Centripetal forces come to be when there is enough devotion, pride, and support for the nation (basically if nationalism is present).
Example: USSR unified people through exercising the ideas of communism.

Self-Determination occurs when the nationality has a desire to self rule. To preserve and enhance distinctive cultural characteristics.
Example: USA wanted independence from Britain.
