Participation in sports offers tremendous social, emotional and physical benefits for children. We know that one of the worst things for kids is being on the sidelines with an injury. As parents and coaches, there are simple things yall can do to help reduce preventable injuries.
Pain
2. stop the activity if there is pain in your body.
Drink lots of water!
3. Make sure you drinkplenty of fluids during and after your sport.
Equipment
4. Wear the right gear for your sport so you can protect your neck, shoulder, elbow, chest, knee, and chin.
Warm up
5. Strengthen muscles. conditioning excercises during practice strengthens muscles when used in play.
A Physical Form
6. Before playing oranzied sports, make sure you get a participation physical exam by a doctor.
