SECOND Parent-Teacher Conference & Family Questionnaire
On Friday, March 25th we will be hosting a VIRTUAL second parent-teacher conference! We are very lucky to be able to have this time to partner with families and provide you with an update on your child's progress. Please be sure to check your dojo and sign up for a conference time! On Wednesday, March 23rd a hard copy of your child's report card will come home in their backpack, so you have time to review it and prepare for the conference.
Free & Reduced Lunch Forms
One wonderful benefit we have experienced during covid is a delicious FREE breakfast and lunch for ALL families. In order to maintain this status, we need everyone to continue filling out our Free & Reduced Lunch Forms. If you already did so this year, we thank you! If you have NOT yet filled out the Free & Reduced Lunch form AND you have qualified in the past, please check your child's backpack for a form coming home. We will also be calling or dojo messaging you next week to remind you, so we appreciate your support! Please submit the Free & Reduced Lunch form BEFORE April 1st!

Advanced Learning Program (ALP)
The Advanced Learning Program is getting read to start evaluating students for ALP Reading, Math and Science placement for the 2022-2023 school year. The Advanced Learning Program uses a content replacement and acceleration programming model for students who give evidence of significantly high-performance capability. For the 2022-2023 school year, identified students will meet daily in the ALP classroom in lieu of general education classrooms to receive their instruction in Reading, Math and/or Science.
Parent input is a valuable component of the placement process. In order to refer your student for evaluation to Reading, Math, and/or Science ALP program classes and provide the committee with your insights, please complete the google form found at Parent Referral Form. https://forms.gle/rquecLsV72n9yb6JA
This form must be completed by Wednesday, March 23rd.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Students who are currently enrolled in elementary ALP Humanities or STEM classes do not need to be evaluated to continue in ALP Reading or Math for the 2022-2023 school year. Students currently enrolled in ALP STEM will also be automatically placed into both ALP Math and ALP Science for the 2022-2023 school year.

BYE BYE BIRDIE tells the story of a rock 'n’ roll singer, Conrad Birdie, who is about to be inducted into the army. Albert Petersen, his agent, is a pleasant, mild-mannered young man. His faithful secretary, Rose Alvarez, concocts one final national publicity plan before Conrad’s induction. He will bid a typical American teenage girl goodbye with a kiss on the Ed Sullivan show. Kim McAfee in Sweet Apple, Ohio, wins the honor. It sends the residents of Sweet Apple into a spin — especially Hugo Peabody, who just pinned Kim!
