What are some tips for the taking the test?
- Be sure to eat breakfast the day of the test. An empty stomach makes it difficult to concentrate during the test.
- Read something (the newspaper, a magazine article, a cereal box, etc.) before coming to school. Reading stimulates the mind and will ensure your body is fully awake prior to the test.
- Pace yourself. Don’t spend too much time on any one question. If you don’t know how to do a question, skip it and come back to it.
- Don’t leave anything blank on the test.
- Use process of elimination. If you can eliminate answer choices, you have a better chance of getting the answer correct if you guess.

College Athletics
The advantages of competing in college sports are both immediate and lifelong. Participating in college sports provides opportunities to learn, compete and succeed. Student-athletes receive top-notch academic support, quality medical care and regular access to outstanding coaching, facilities and equipment. Student-athletes as a group graduate at higher rates than their peers in the general student body and feel better prepared for life after college.
Learn more about the three divisions
College-bound student-athletes preparing to enroll in a Division I or Division II school need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center to ensure they have met amateurism standards and are academically prepared for college coursework.
New England Board of Higher Education Tuition Break
The New England Board of Higher Education Regional Student Program offers discounted tuition to New England Residents for a select group of majors.
In most cases, the regional tuition covers all four years of the program. For some majors, however, the regional tuition does not take effect until later in the program. When tuition is reduced from out-of-state to regional, merit scholarships are reduced to the corresponding regional scholarship amount.
