Class Registration - Coming in January!
6th & 7th Grade Families: We are excited to begin planning for next school year. A large part of this process is course selection which will occur in late January. The school counselors will be providing all current 6th and 7th grade students the information needed to help them select courses for next year. Encore elective options will be discussed in detail at this time. Students will begin to choose encore electives that are appropriate for their interests and future planning. Students will have a course selection sheet to help in planning and will share this preliminary selection sheet with their families. Families will discuss these selections with their students and register for courses online through PowerSchool. Stay tuned for more information regarding the online registration process.
8th Grade Families: In the month of January, 8th grade students will begin their high school course registration process. During this time, the high school counselors will discuss four year planning and help students with course selection for their Freshman year. We encourage you to review the resources shared with your student about the registration process so you can help them make the best possible decisions. We will conclude the course registration process in February when the high school counselors briefly meet individually with 8th grade students to review their course selections. More information about the registration process and important dates will be shared by the high school counselor.
If you have questions regarding the class selection process, please connect with your student's guidance counselor:

The hysterical meets the historical in this comic romp through the wackiest wax museum in history! School’s out for summer, but not for six unlucky students who don’t know much about history — they have to re-take the class in summer school. First year teacher Heather Fairchild has arranged for them to help her two aunts set up a new wax museum as a class project. Though the students’ eyes glaze over with boredom, there’s a twinkle in the wax figures’ eyes when a mysterious incantation from the back of Cleopatra’s bracelet brings them to life! King Henry VIII finds himself smitten with Cleopatra, making his queen, Anne Boleyn, furious. If she can just not lose her head, John Adams is there to serve as her divorce attorney! When Butch Cassidy, the Sundance Kid, Blackbeard and a bevy of pirates show up, everybody’s out for one thing — treasure! Supposedly, there’s a mighty valuable one hidden in the museum! It’s a wild goose chase to find it, with a greedy museum landlord and her bumbling son joining in the mad search. And why is Lizzie Borden lurking in the shadows, since the aunts say they never had a wax figure of her?! Join the hilarious fun as treasure-hungry outlaws, pirates and royalty mount the greatest siege since Vicksburg! Wax historical in this mad-cap comedy adventure where the magic of history comes alive... literally!

Don't Forget Your Coat
All students will continue to go outside for recess even as the weather gets colder. The decision to have an outdoor or indoor recess is based on both the wind speed and temperature. Students do not go outdoors if it is raining or if the temperature falls below 0 degrees wind chill. Please encourage your students to dress appropriately as they will continue to go outside for recess. This includes bringing a coat, hat and gloves.
REGISTRATION FOR 22-23 IS NOW OPEN FOR NEW FAMILIES!
Our registration is now open for next school year for new families to the district and next year’s 4K. You can find all the necessary details on our website here. Please note that students already enrolled in our schools do not have to have a new registration completed. You may utilize the “Create Account” and “Forgot Password” buttons on the registration page to complete your registration or gain access if you have created an account in the past. Please help us share that registration is open with any new families to the area or those with younger children that would be entering 4K or 5K!

Absence Notification Procedures
Like last year, we will be asking parents/guardians to use THIS FORM to report student absences. The attendance form is also located as a button on the main school webpage and under the “Parents Information” section.
This form will require you to enter your child’s six-digit student ID number and birthdate before you can report your child absent. Student specific medical information collected by the form will remain confidential and only be shared within the health and nursing services team.
Visitors & Volunteers in Schools
In regards to visitors or volunteers, any person entering any school building during the school day when children are present for school is required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status. Masks should be worn at all times when in the building, and the visitor/volunteer should limit direct contact with others and maintain social distance (6 feet or more) when able.
Visitors and volunteers who are outdoors during the school day where students are present are required to wear a mask unless they have been vaccinated. Visitors or volunteers in the building after school, in locations where students are not present, are not required to wear a mask.
Early Dismissals & Late Arrivals
If you come to pick up your student during the school day, we ask that you do not enter our building but instead pull up into the circle driveway outside of our main office. Your student will be watching for you and we will send them out to your car when they see that you have arrived. If you are waiting longer than a few minutes for your student, you may call our main office to check in (414-529-8250).
If you are dropping your student off late for any reason, you do not need to come into the school with your student. Please pull into our circle driveway outside of the main office where your student can enter and check in. We will give your student a pass to class and update their attendance at that time.
Please remember to use THIS FORM for ANY attendance related notification including students leaving early, arriving late or full day absences. Please do not send notes with your student to notify us of these changes.
Dropping something off for your student?
In an effort to reduce the amount of interruptions to students and teachers in the classroom, most items will be delivered to students during their 3rd hour class unless the item is clearly needed right away (for example, the student's Chromebook). If an item is dropped off after 3rd hour, we will get the item to the student as soon as possible.
