High School Highlights

Reinventing the urban experience together

Week of January 18, 2016

I hope everyone enjoyed their extra day off this weekend and is back ready to go full swing.

This is perhaps the busiest time of the year. Planning for next year is in full force, while you are still focusing on finishing this year as strong as possible. Take a few moments this week to check in with your key players on campus regarding academic success, testing planning, choice sheets, budget prep, possible adjustments to next year's master schedule, college application rates, trustee awards, etc. We all know that being well-prepared makes things a lot less stressful.

At this week's principal's meeting we have a full schedule. Come prepared to review attendance information, launch a new book study (remember you do not need to read anything ahead of time), get an update on testing (bring all your questions) and hear about the Tech Plan (remember to do your home work)

Senior Ranking

January 25 is the due date for senior ranking. Encourage your registrars to be done by January 20. It is SUPER important that your admin team work closely with the registrars to clear up attendance for seniors before this date for those courses to be included in the ranked GPA.
