A Note from Mrs. Shostachuk 05/08/2022

Dear Central Road Families,

Our first week of May was short yet very special! The care around our Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week was wonderful. Our students continue to enjoy the last few weeks of school while learning, playing, and having fun together. Please enjoy your long weekend with family and friends. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, grandmothers, aunts, god-mothers, step-mothers and moms-to-be in our CR community! We look forward to welcoming back students on Monday, May 9th. Thank you also for your continued support and dedication to our Central Road community! We truly appreciate it.

Kindest Regards,

Joanna Shostachuk

Please take a moment to review some information regarding new lockdown information related to House Bill 2400 (The School Safety Drill Act) that was shared in the fall 2021 Lockdown Opt-Out.

Last Day of School

It is hard to believe the last day of school is coming soon! All KDG students will end on June 2nd. They will have typical school hours on June 2nd. Students in grades 1-6 will end on June 3rd. Tentative school hours on June 3rd will be 8:25 am-11:25 am.

We love our visitors, guests, and volunteers! Please remember when volunteering at Central Road School to check into our school office upon arrival. Please come with a photo ID as it is required to visit our building. We provide each volunteer with a sticker to wear/display when joining us for any set period of time. Please note there are no exceptions to keeping our students and staff safe. Thank you for your cooperation, patience, and understanding of our policy.

BrightBytes Parent Survey-May 2nd-20th

Our school is partnering with BrightBytes, a data analytics organization built to provide insights into our new and changing learning environments with the goal of ensuring equitable learning support for all students.

This year’s survey is designed to capture your perspective around your child’s classroom support and resources (e.g., access to technology, instructional support, and student social-emotional competencies).

We are requesting that you take part in this important school survey. Your responses will remain anonymous to protect your privacy. The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

The last day to complete this survey is May 20, 2021. Please respond using the link below:

THANK A CENTRAL ROAD STAFF MEMBER

As we enter the 2nd half of the school year, I invite you to take notice of the things you see your child's teacher do, hear your child's teacher say, or the things you hear your child gush with excitement about related to their teacher. We've included this simple form for you to submit should you feel so inclined to do so. Children in full day school spend more of their waking day with their teacher than they do with their parents. We thank you for entrusting your child with us! This has been a good school year and your kind words mean more than you know!
