Speaker: Christine King Farris, author of Through It All: Reflections on My Life, My Family, and My Faith
Christine King Farris is the sister of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the only surviving member of the King family. She is the author of the children's book My Brother Martin and has been on the faculty of Spelman College since 1958. She lives with her husband in Atlanta.
The "First Sunday" lecture series is sponsored by the Friends of Smyrna Library.
This special lecture is the Keynote Lecture for Smyrna Library's celebration of Black History Month. The lecture will be located next door to the Library in the Community Center.
