Falcon Updates
September 9, 2018
Week of September 10 - 14
Monday: A Day
Tuesday: B Day
Wednesday: A Day
Thursday: B Day
Friday: A DayInterested in QUIZ BOWL?
Quiz Bowl is a game in which two teams compete to answer questions from all general areas of knowledge including history, literature, science, fine arts, current events, sports, popular culture, and more. It is similar to a team version of high school Jeopardy.
One defining feature of any Quiz Bowl is the buzzer system used by students to “buzz in” when they believe they can answer a question. The buzzer system gives Quiz Bowl a game-show like quality, which makes it fun and engaging!
We plan to meet one day per week directly after school until 4:30; and some members of both middle and high school will compete on March 2 in Knightdale, NC. We can take more than one team for each level, so be sure to spread the word!
Also, if you are currently participating in a sport that won't allow you to attend meetings right now but can join us after fall that is great too, please sign up and join us when you can!
If you think you might like to join the club, please include your information here, so we can notify you when we plan to host an informational meeting :0)

Car Rider Line Updates
- Please pull all the way up when picking up or dropping off students.
- Please do not allow students to get out of the car before passing the crosswalk (either Ms. Rickert or Mr. Bay will be on duty). It is unsafe because there is not enough space to walk.
- Ask your child to watch for you in the afternoon so they can quickly get into the car.
- The morning line is not busy at 7:30. Arrive between 7:25 and 7:30 if you do not want to wait long in line.
- The afternoon line is finished a little before 3:30. If you do not like to wait, arrive at 3:10.
- If you pull into the parking lot to park, you will not be able to exit until the car line is finished around 7:50.
