Agricultural Adjustment Act
Date
Brought into effect on May 12th, 1933
Purpose
Reduce the crop surplus in return to raise the values of crops.
Way Government Enforced It
Payed farmers money they would have earned so that they would reuce the crop area.
New Administration
This act created a new administration called the Agriculture Adjustment Administration.
Court Ruling
Ruled unconstitutional in year 1936.
