4/30 Neighborhood Meet & Greet!
Coffee Break at Hope's Market for Community Leaders of HiFi
Come check out a new healthy food option in your neighborhood!
Hope's Market owner Sonia is transforming her liquor store into a new Healthy Neighborhood Market, with fresh produce, healthier snack foods and more! She is investing her own time and money to make her store a reliable source for delicious, nutritious, affordable food and a safe community space in Historic Filipinotown. With consulting from the LA Food Policy Council's "Healthy Neighborhood Market Network" and the API Obesity Prevention Alliance's "Fresh HiFi" project, Sonia plans to complete her market makeover by the end of summer 2014.
Hope's Market needs neighborhood leaders like you to back up her efforts by spreading the word to family and friends about her new healthy food options. We invite you to come out to the Neighbor Meet and Greet on Wednesday, April 30th, and discover the exciting changes Sonia has in store!
