Purdue University's Top Farmer Conference
Purdue Universities Top Farmer Conference is now in its 50th year. A half-day pre-conference workshop happens on January 8, followed by the one-day Top Farmer Conference on January 9. Both portions of the program feature faculty and staff experts from Purdue's Center for Commercial Agriculture.
The conference also includes sessions led by faculty from Kansas State University and leading industry experts. Surrounded by farm management, farm policy, agricultural finance and marketing experts, and a group of your peers, the conference will stimulate your thinking about agriculture’s future and how you can position your farm to be successful in the years ahead.
Educational Opportunities
Dicamba Herbicide Use in Indiana - Training offered for Hamilton County Applicators
Among other new label restrictions, prior to applying any of the above mentioned three products, every applicator must complete state-required dicamba training. Purdue Extension Hamilton County has scheduled a Dicamba Herbicide Use in Indiana training on Friday, February 9th from 1:30pm-3:30pm at the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds in Noblesville. RSVP by calling 317-776-0854 or e-mail glmarsha@purdue.edu by February 7th, 2018.
