Big picture

Congrats, Lego League participants!

Jackson Elementary was well-represented at the recent Lego League tournament at John Sevier Middle School. Mrs. Kenner's team received a 1st place trophy in Robot Design and a 2nd place trophy in the Robot Game, scoring 96 points on the Robot Game. This team will be competing at the state level in Cookeville at Tennessee Tech University in February. Only 8 schools from our region were chosen to continue on to state. Ms. Farmer's Lego League Jr. team "The Moonwalkers" started the exploration of lego building. They developed a solution for a potential problem during "Mission Moon."
