We have officially made it through the first nine weeks! I hope you take a moment to breathe and reflect on ALL that you have accomplished. I know there is work to be done, and that work can feel daunting and overwhelming, but take a look at this picture. What is this fisherman thinking? Where should he anchor? Where is the best place to catch a fish? Where did he drop his boat in? He could be overwhelmed by the vastness around him, or he could just breathe and enjoy this beautiful moment.

We have the best job in all of Gwinnett County Public Schools. We get to walk into buildings each day and celebrate all the wonderful learning that's happening. While some "spots" are better than others for "catching fish," the lake is no less beautiful. Take time today to breathe. Take time today to celebrate all of your accomplishments this nine weeks. Take time to let go of the things you wanted to do, but weren't able to do. Now, let's pick up this poll and catch the big fish!
