It's March already!
Our cougars have already completed more than half of this school year, and we are looking forward to what the rest of this year will bring. Please make sure to stay connected as we will have a lot more to come before the end of the year.
READ ACROSS AMERICA Feb. 28th- March 3rd Continuing this week is "Read Across America" week. March 2nd is Dr. Suess' birthday. March 1st is hat day. March 2nd is dress as your favorite Dr. Suess character day, and March 3rd is dress your best and use your best manners day. There is be a special menu planned for Thursday, March 2nd. Green eggs and pancakes for breakfast, and green eggs and ham for lunch. Please refer to the school menus for details. | ATTENDANCE One of the most important tools for a successful education you can give your child is getting them to school every day and making sure that they arrive on time. Studies show when a child has numerous absences or is chronically late they are missing out on key steps that help them build for a brighter, stronger future. If your child must miss school for illness or an appointment please contact the front office and turn in a note from the appointment. PTSO NEWS APEX FUN RUN- It's Back! We will be kicking off this FUNDRAISER with a PEP RALLY . The obstacle course event will be held on Friday, March 10th. Please call the school office if you're interested in being a volunteer for this event. Some of the goals the PTSO is working towards are classroom field trips and classroom supplies. | FROM OUR PAW HOUSE The month of March brings new and exciting things for our little cubs! The students will be learning all about rainbows and clovers. The teachers have some great ways to help the students learn about colors. After spring break the students will learn about growing and changing. Making hand and foot prints with paint is a great way to see their growth.
