YOUR WEEKLY PEEK -THE LIFE OF A GENERAL

SPECTATORS AT SCHOOL EVENTS

We thank you in advance for your understanding as we try our best to provide our Generals with a rewarding middle school experience.

THERAPY DOGS

Please see the attached letter if you wish to have our child opt out. https://bit.ly/3CrGTWx

STAYING HYDRATED!

Students are encouraged to bring in water bottles to stay hydrated throughout the day. Until the cafeteria begins a la carte sales, water bottles will be available for sale-$1.00/bottle.

HOW TO REPORT A STUDENT ABSENCE DURING A PANDEMIC

If your child will be absent from school, you must call the attendance line to report the absence. Please state the following:
  • Your child's name
  • Grade
  • State the reason for the absence with specific symptoms. NOTE: Students with symptoms consistent with Covid-19 will be excluded from school per the NJDOH guidelines.

LUNCH

For the 2021-2022 school year lunch will be provided to all district students, regardless of eligibility. Please refer to the letter sent home to all families: https://bit.ly/38FBqOD. Those who would like to participate in this program should complete the survey attached to the above referenced letter. If you have any questions, please email Aly Williams at awilliams@freeholdtwp.k12.nj.us.

Lunch options will be provided and served grab-and-go. A la carte items will not be available at this time. There will not be any sale of individual water or milk. Students will be sitting at desks in the cafeteria and may remove their mask once they have their lunch and seated at a desk. Once they are finished eating, masks should be put back on.
