OUR NEW MISSION AND STRATEGIC GOALS
REAL WORLD EXPERIENCES
We will ignite student engagement and passion by promoting inquiry and by designing real-world, student-centered learning experiences.
INNOVATE TOGETHER
We will build an innovative community where we learn, live, and play TOGETHER.
READ ACROSS AMERICA - LEARNING TOGETHER
A fantastic week of Reading Across America is currently underway! Teachers, administrators, staff, and community members across the district worked together to pull off this coordinated day with dozens of activities. VIP guest readers from our community are treating students to read-alouds of their favorite books! We will be recognizing Ashbrook’s Most Improved Readers at the Board Meeting - please join us (details below)!
Superheros
The PTA is hosting special events all week: yesterday was African American Superhero Day. Today a special guest will be introduced. Pictured here are Meghan Meadows and Gretchen Boyle.
Helping hands
This Book Smile bin was coordinated by Denise Clark. Jenn Hamlet and Beth Horvath coordinated an event where 8th graders read to BRS students. Many other teachers, staff, administrators, & community members are making this week special.
