Important Information for the week:
· This morning we welcome The Morris Brothers to our campus. Please remind your students about appropriate assembly behavior. We will also be having a PTA board meeting going on simultaneously.
· Our Eagle Mountain 25 Skill of the week is Rule #9 –When you are with a substitute teacher, obey the same rules that you follow when your teacher is with you.
· Many of you have already begun your parent conferences. Those will continue Wednesday afternoon. Please turn in a schedule of your parent conferences to us by the end of the week. Remember Wednesday the kids will be dismissed at 11:40.
· We also have Grandparent Days on Thursday & Friday of this week & they will be done differently this year. They are at the end of the day with snacks in the cafeteria & then the grandparents will have an opportunity to visit the Book Fair.
· If you haven’t turned in your Eagles of Character please do so this morning.

SHOUT OUTS
- Kudos to Danielle for using QR codes in her classroom & all over the school – way to increase student interest & enthusiasm in a new way!
- Bravo to Leslie for her outstanding third grade program last week. The students’ energy was impressive, & they really performed well, had fun, & put on a great show! THANK YOU for all you did to include every student! We also appreciate the third grade teachers – Karyn, Debbi, Kristin, & Chase for their help as well as Beth, Sheryl, Suzanne, Becky, & Angela who assisted as well. It came together very nicely!
- Drew – did a remarkable job Tuesday night at our Dad’s Club kick-off. He was energetic, persuasive & passionate as he talked up the program. As a result of his excellent organization, about 60 of our dad’s (out of 75 who attended) have signed up to participate which is huge! A big THANK YOU to Drew for working hard to make our Dad’s club really MEAN something! Thanks also to Donna, Pam, Sophia, Dedra, Jennifer, & Beth for helping Drew with set up & serving pizza. He appreciated your help & support immensely!
- Thanks to Madeline & the Kindergarten team, Kim, Lynnette, Cindy, & Lora for decorating the lounge for our Staff Luncheon on Friday. Ya’ll outdid yourselves this time. People really do look forward to our monthly staff luncheons! Thanks for all the extra decorating & finishing touches you put which added to the spooky but festive experience.
