YES Card Updates

UPDATES FOR THIS PROGRAM YEAR
Middle school families should receive sign-up information through their student's school.
Once you've submitted your sign-up form, we will email you within 5 business days to confirm that your application has been received and to provide information about how, when and where you can pick up your student's Yes Card.
Please see below for the events scheduled so far at each school! Please do not panic if you cannot attend the event(s) listed; we are working with the schools to schedule additional times for distributing the cards and we will communicate these opportunities as they are scheduled, including through this newsletter which will be updated and sent out each Thursday.

Pumpkin Jar Painting Workshop
Sunday, Sep. 24th, 2-4pm

Looking for a new fall decoration? Come paint a pumpkin jar! This is a great workshop to do with friends or family. Feel free to bring a guest to help you paint!
We will paint them with glass and fire them so they will be food safe. Choose from two pumpkin shapes in the drop down menu.

Canoe KY Tree ID at Riverview Park

Join Canoe Kentucky Professionals to explore ways to tell different trees apart from other trees. What do you need to know to be able to identify trees in your area?
This program takes place at Riverview Park, 400 Wilkinson Blvd., Frankfort, KY.
Program begins at 6:00 PM.

Broadway Clay Pottery Pals
Monday, Sep. 25th, 4-6pm

Pottery Pals from 4:00pm to 4:45pm
Ages 4+
Each session includes four classes beginning on the first Monday of the month.
These classes are for a child ages 4 and up, plus one adult. Kids and their special adult will explore clay while expanding creativity, practice problem solving, and build artistic techniques each creating their own projects. As students continue the classes each month they will build skills and can eventually become an independent artist to be prepared for our upper-level kids class (drop-off program).
Please communicate in the comments below about your student so we are fully prepared to create a class where they will be successful.
The projects will take up to 3 weeks to complete. We hold pieces for 1 month before they disappear from the store.

The following students are eligible:
- All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students at public middle schools in Franklin County (Second Street, Elkhorn Middle, Bondurant Middle, and The Academy).

Not sure whether your child has a card, when it expires, or how much is left on it?
Search "yiftee" in your email or text inbox and click on the link to view the card, current balance and expiration date.
YES Cards will run on an August-July schedule to sync with the school year.
