The Cadott Elementary has High Hopes for a bright tomorrow!
As you saw last week in the Buzz, our learning is getting back to normal... in addition we are adding school assemblies back!
In preparation for our first assembly of the year, students expressed their individual High Hopes through a writing prompt, "My High Hopes are..." We will be posting each gradelevel's "High Hopes" in a slide show in future editions of our Weekly Buzz. They are wonderful!!!
On Friday March 26th we will be celebrating our "High Hopes" for a bright future through music, dancing and our Shubert Players in grade level assemblies. To make sure that we are maintaining social distancing we will bring one grade level in the gym at a time for "grade specific" assemblies.
As students enter the gym they will be entertained by our Cadott Sr High Band, then they will meet our Shubert players who will review our Powers and Skills of our Social and Emotional Learning Program. We will finish each assembly singing and dancing to our new school song: "High Hopes"!

Hello Cadott Family,
Cadott Wrestling was well represented last weekend by 22 wrestlers. In a year where Covid has changed the way things are done, we were fortunate enough to have an opportunity to wrestle in a state tournament. Unlike past years, this year there was no "qualifier" tournament, so anyone who wanted to compete had the opportunity. Due to this, there were brackets as large as 40 wrestlers and a quick turnaround from match to match. With short rest times in between matches, stamina was as important as ever. All of our athletes gained valuable experience and battled in each match. A huge thank you to all of our coaches who made sure our wrestlers always had a coach in their corner. I have received compliments in regards to our sportsmanship as well as the way our fans were always there for each wrestler. We were able to have 7 of our 19 competitors make the podium including two State Champions! A big congrats to all of our wrestlers for having the courage to give their best at the state tournament and control their emotions. We finished with a team record of 45-33, we had 14 pins (ranked 34th of 236 clubs) and scored 246 points (ranked 18th of 262 clubs). Thanks again to all of the coaches, parents, and community members who give so much of their time to help Cadott Wrestling stay a premier wrestling program.
