MESSAGE FROM MRS. JONES
Monday, January 25, 2021 is an EARLY RELEASE DAY. All Elementary students will dismiss at 11AM. After student dismissal, we look forward to having collective staff professional development. This month our staff will analyze and discuss school-wide data and learn more about Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).
Also, Thursday, January 28, 2021 is FALL MAKE-UP PICTURE DAY. This is for face-face and virtual students. Face - Face students will be taking pictures from 8am -11am and virtual students will take pictures from 11am - 1pm. Virtual student parents may drop their child off in the bus parking lot loop. When you are facing the school, this is the parking lot to the right. There will be a sign where they will enter the building. At that time, the parent may park in the lot. Once picture is taken, students will return to their vehicle under staff supervision.
Please know that although we are functioning differently as a school and community due to circumstances related to the pandemic, please know that if you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact me at the school.
I hope you have a great weekend and stay safe!
Mrs. Jacqueline G. Jones
Principal

VALENTINES DAY
It's so hard to believe that Valentines Day is right around the corner. We will be celebrating this special day as a school community on Friday, February 12th since it falls on a Sunday this year. In order to keep everyone safe and comply with COVID guidelines, ALL elementary schools in our district will be providing snacks for ALL children. We will NOT be able to allow any items (food, cupcakes etc...) to come from families. In addition, in lieu of Valentines cards coming in and being distributed to classmates, each class will have fun activities to spread love and cheer throughout the day. We don't want you to needlessly spend money so please know that if you send items in backpacks or drop them off, we will have to send them back home. Our staff will be working collaboratively to plan fun but safe activities for all to enjoy. Please look for more details coming soon regarding these activities. You can begin planning your child's attire for this day as students and staff will be able to wear PJs or Valentines Day colors. Thank you in advance for your understanding and support as we work as a school and district to keep ALL students and staff safe.
Thanks!

Message from Mrs. Holder - ONLINE BOOK FAIR
Hello Mount Holly Families!
Our Online Book Fair is fast approaching! It will go live on January 29, 2021 and be open virtually until the end of the day on February 11, 2021. A flyer listing all the great new titles along with a bookmark with the web address will be sent home in the upcoming week. When the Virtual Book Fair goes live, please share the link far and wide! Books will enjoy free shipping for orders over $30 and orders will happily be shipped to the address listed in the order. Wouldn't it be interesting to see where the most distant order comes from? Hmmm.... every order made between January 29th - February 11th means more books that we can buy for our Mount Holly Library! We thank you in advance for your support!!
Thank you and continue being Fabulous!
