MHS Interact is Doing Great Things!
Thanks to the Magnolia High School faculty and staff, students, and our Magnolia Community Members, the MHS Interact Club was able to raise $626.21 for Heifer International. Heifer International works in 21 countries around the world to strengthen local economies and build secure livelihoods that guarantee a living income to local farmers by providing livestock, seeds, water, and technology.
That is enough to pay for a full cow and a full goat to give to a family in an underdeveloped country.
Three of our Interact Officers (Tyler Hansen, Cristina Duke, and Hannah Chicken) were invited to attend the Magnolia Rotary Meeting at the MISD Event Center to share our news with the Rotary Club.

Seniors - A Message From Bulb
Seniors - make sure you take your bulb account with you once you officially become alumni.
- As the seniors transition outside of Magnolia ISD, we want them to continue to have access to their bulb Digital Porfolios which are free for life including the digital resume feature.
- Have questions on transitioning your seniors or other students on bulb? Check out this End of the year FAQ one pager to answer your questions.
- Here are video instructions on how to do that: https://youtu.be/tpgd5UkVrYQ
Your bulb portfolios are free for life!

Google Educational Accounts - PSA
As educational institutions must follow the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA), Google has educational restrictions on email accounts for students in kindergarten - 12th-grade. How this applies to Magnolia ISD is that Google prohibits the use of educational Google account (@mymisd.org) for use outside of the district.
It is recommended that high school students create a professional non-school-related email account that can be used for outside educational purposes. (We recommend Google as it allows for easy transfer of items from their school Google Drive to their personal Google Drive, upon graduation.) For example, if you have a student applying for scholarships using their @mymisd.org Google account, the information that is transmitted will not be sent and/or received.
