Rocky River Newsletter - Back to School August 2019
News from Dr. LaRusso
The beginning of the school year is always a time of excitement and anticipation. These feelings include the belief that this year will the best school year ever, and a feeling that the beginning of a new year means a brand new adventure. The anticipation of learning something new and making new friends is almost too much to bear. And that is just how the teachers feel! The students are even more excited.
At Rocky River serving our students, and our community, is such a blessing and a privilege. In a few short days we will enthusiastically meet the reasons for our excitement, and thank you for sharing your kids with us.

2019 Boosterthon Shades
Shades are up!!!
Boosterthon is a unique program that promotes exercise, teamwork, and community-mindedness. In addition the program allows us to raise much needed funds for our school. This year one of our goals was to raise money to buy and install shade stations for our playgrounds! We were able to purchase 5 sunshades. They add much needed shade to both our playgrounds. Thank you!
