Students Give Feedback
As a part of our commitment to a culture of caring at Quail, students are taking a survey in each of their classes. These surveys will give individual teachers feedback about how their hard work and caring translates to our students. Teachers will then be able to reflect on our practice to continue to improve upon Quail Hollow's culture of high scholarly expectation and caring. We are excited to put this feedback into practice!

6th Grade Visits Winthrop University
My experience at Winthrop was exciting and cool. First, we did a scavenger hunt and afterwards, we toured the campus. I saw some interesting and pretty awesome looking things like the amphitheater, the waterfall, the mascot statue, and many other campus features. Second, the things I learned from being there helped me understand what college was like. I saw the dorms and some of the students walking around the campus. Lastly, the food was really good. We went to Starbucks AND had lunch there. Overall, my experience at Winthrop was one of a kind and fun!

Student Absences: Do You Know What to Do?
Is your child going to be absent for a medical appointment? Did your child wake up sick and need to stay home? Will your student be missing school for a family situation? No matter the reason, please remember to let the school know about the absence to ensure they are marked as excused when necessary. Notes from parents regarding a child's absence can be dropped off by the child in the front office, or contact our attendance secretary Ali Hogston. You can also email your notes to quailattendance@cms.k12.nc.us.
