Ralph's declining mental state

'Who cares?'

This provided a break in the ice when it got a little to tough in the conversation.
The forest.
This plays a big part because when talking about the beast, they were very wary of the forest and the dangers that could be inside. Also, at the end a howl came from deep within the forest.
The rules.
For Ralph, he is holding on big time to these rules. And by holding on, he is slowly but surly losing his mind.
