Teacher Appreciation Week is coming!! May 1st - May 5th
It’s that time of year when we get to say “THANK YOU” to our amazing teachers and staff!!! Your kiddos will have the opportunity to share tokens of appreciation with their teachers and staff members:
- Monday, May 1: Thanks for helping us GROW! Flower Day...pick...draw or buy a flower gift.
- Tuesday, May 2: Thanks for helping us SHARE! Sharpie Markers/School supplies
- Wednesday, May 3: Thank you to the TEAM! L&C Staff Day...bring something special to one or more of the wonderful staff/special's teachers.
- Thursday, May 4: Thanks for making us CREATIVE! Draw a picture, write a note, sing a song or anything to make your teacher feel special..be creative!
- Friday, May 5: Thank you for CARING: Teachers deserve a break ~ treat them to a gift card from all types of fun places.

New Residency Verification Policy - 6th and 9th Grades for 2017-2018 School Year
Incoming 6th/9th Grade Student Residency Verification Information
Attention parents of students entering the 6th and 9th grades for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year! LPS will be implementing a new residency verification policy. This will be a requirement for students starting on the first day of school (August 16, 2017). The calendar window to submit required documentation will be June 15 - July 29, 2017. Parents are encouraged to begin gathering the information below to submit during the calendar window to avoid long lines and/or enrollment delays:
- Residency declaration form
- A copy of parent/guardian photo ID
- Acceptable proofs of residency
(Two different utilities - water, gas, or electric OR lease agreement OR non-contingent home sales contract OR settlement statement from home purchase)
