Liberty Early Childhood Center Presents: Conscious Discipline® With Jill Molli

Conscious Discipline®, created by Dr. Becky Bailey, is a comprehensive self-regulation program that integrates social-emotional learning and discipline.

Come join us as Jill Molli shares information with parents about how to empower adults to consciously respond to daily conflict with children and transform it into an opportunity to teach children critical life skills. Jill is a national trainer for Loving Guidance/Conscious Discipline. Jill’s experience includes delivering state and national keynotes, teaching children with behavior disabilities, teaching elementary school and serving as a guidance counselor.

This workshop will provide greater understanding of Conscious Discipline to families who are new to Early Childhood Center/Parents as Teachers program, and Elementary schools or who have not had the opportunity to participate in the workshop previously. Parents who have attended in the past are certainly welcome and encouraged to join us again. It is beneficial to hear this information more than one time so that you can continue to grow in your understanding of how to support your child’s social/emotional development.

  • When: Tuesday, September 26, 2017 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm (Doors will open at 6:15 pm)
  • Where: Liberty Early Childhood Center (Fireplace Room) 9600 NE 79th Street, Kansas City, MO 64158
  • There is no cost to attend this parent workshop. Space is limited to approximately the first 125 participants.
  • This presentation is intended for adult participants only. Childcare will not be provided.

Dear Trailblazer Families,

Welcome to another great school year at Lewis and Clark!! The Box Tops for Education Program is an easy way to earn money for our amazing school!! Last year, we raised just over $800!!!! This year we need your help to reach our goal of raising $1,500!

Participating is easy…

· Turn them in by Friday, September 29th!

The class that collects the most Box Tops will earn ice cream sundaes!!

Support Your Trailblazer PTA Fundraiser

The commitment that parents have to support our Lewis and Clark PTA is part of what makes being a trailblazer GREAT! Our students get to participate in TWO field trips at each grade level, a tailgate, reading nights, movie nights, teacher grants for classroom enrichment, maker-space assistance and SO MUCH MORE! In order to help maintain the fun learning environment at L&C, our PTA operates on an annual operating budget of over $25,000 and we need your help to raise that money.

Instead of typical fundraisers, which are a lot of time and effort, we are asking for your donation to help achieve this goal. Why support your Trailblazer with a donation?

  1. 100% of the money stays at Lewis and Clark for our Trailblazers
  2. NOTHING to sell
  3. Tax Deductible!!!
Please choose a level that works for you:

_____ $15 – Red

_____ $25 – Yellow

_____ $50 – Green

_____ $75 – Navy

_____ $100 – Gold (includes a free 2017-2018 yearbook)

_____ Other - Become a sponsor and have your business advertised at all PTA events

Please make checks payable to Lewis and Clark PTA with ‘donation’ written in the memo line. Forms available in the Lewis and Clark office if needed. Thanks for your support!
