2017 Seale Jr. High Summer School

Accelerated Instruction Summer 2017 May 30-June 22

All Grades 6-8 at-risk students recommended by their campus

Summer school for all Robstown ISD at-risk middle school students in grades 6-8 will be held Monday-Thursday from 8:30-3:00pm at Seale Jr. High. Regular transportation will be provided for those that normally ride the bus.


Breakfast will be served 8:00-8:30 and lunch will be provided 11:30-12:00.

Accelerated instruction will be provided in ELAR and Math for sixth grade, seventh and eighth grade. Enrichment activities will be provided by 21st Century.

Separate SSI instruction will be provided in 8th grade Reading and Math for students that did not pass the STAAR and will need to take those STAAR tests again.


21st Century will also provide full day enrichment only programs available through July 13 (off July 4) for those not required to attend summer school

Who Can Attend?

  • All 6-8 grade students at-risk and recommended by their campus (Did not pass their grade level or missed significant instruction during the previous year)
  • Students that did not meet standard on STAAR
  • Migrant students in grades 6-8 will also be provided summer instruction through Project Smart
  • Any student not meeting the at-risk guidelines may attend enrichment through July 13. Monday-Thursday only May 30-July 13. 8:30-3:00. Breakfast and Lunch provided.

Transportation provided if your student normally rides the bus

When?

May 30-June 23 Monday through Thursday ONLY- no Fridays.

8:30-3:00. Arrive at 8:00am for breakfast. 21st Century will provide additional enrichment through July 13 (off July 4).
