Dixons Kings Academy Appreciations!
Integrity, Diligence, Civility... 25 November 2016
100% EVERY DAY
The Climb... Events at DKA this week!
Thank you to all the businesses that attended our Careers Fair and for the lovely emails received following the event
Dean Coleman-Walker, Business Development Adviser, Appris
“A very well done to you and your colleagues for a resounding success of a day! I must say that you vastly exceeded expectations for the event, with a marvellous turn out from employers, providers and colleges. The students were all very polite and asked lots of pertinent questions throughout the day, which is a great testimony for the school as a whole. Appris will be more than happy to support any further events in the future.”
Derek Hales Architect, RIBA Yorkshire
I thought I'd email and thank-you for the opportunity to meet with Dixons Kings Academy students today - I was struck by the overwhelming positivity of the students and how bright, well disciplined and inquisitive they were.
If anyone at Dixons wanted to explore further opportunity with RIBA Yorkshire just let regional office know - I'd be happy to meet to discuss things - perhaps a future talk to students about the cultural value of architecture and say more on the work of the profession - or a workshop for design technology students.
The event was clearly a big thing to have arranged - I wanted to say that it felt like it was a real success to me.
Michael Inwood, Askham Bryan College
“… may I also say how impressed I was with the interest shown by the students and the questions they asked. I was also greatly impressed by the high standards of politeness shown by the students they are a credit to your organisation.”
Tim Jickells, Transition and Engagement Officer, Keighley College, Leeds City College
“Thank you for inviting the college to your event, we had a great time interacting with your learner and staff. We found your learner to be polite and well behaved they also asked some really good relative questions. If you require any more information on Keighley/Leeds City College or would like to arrange a tour of our campus please do get in touch.”
