Conception
meaning "becoming pregnant" The fertilization of an ovum by a sperm in the Fallopian tube followed by implantation in the womb.
First Trimester
During the first 3 months, the embryo is transforming. Your uterus begins to support the growth of the placenta and the fetus. The First Trimester causes many of the pregnancy symptoms, such as fatigue, morning sickness, headaches, and constipation. It is the development of the baby.
Second Trimester
The second trimester (weeks 13-27) often the most comfortable period of time for the majority of pregnant women. Your abdomen will start to look pregnant, as the uterus will grow rapidly in size.
Third Trimester
The third trimester lasts from the 28th week through the birth of your baby. The fetus begins to use all five sense and begins to pass water from the bladder.
Birth
Birth occurs when the cervix is fully dilated, the baby passes through the birth canal and emerges from the mothers body.
Stage 1 Infancy
Infant is completely dependent on others to meet his or her needs.
Stage 4 late childhood
Child completes transition from home to school ; learns to make things and acquire skills.
Stage 2 Early Childhood
Child learns to walk, talk, and dress, and feed themselves. Self- Control
Stage 3 Middle childhood
Child becomes more engaged in interactions with others, Models adults behaviors.
Adolescence
physical growth occurs. Voices are changing and bodies are filling out. Adolescence is the fastest period of growth, Changes also take place in your mental / emotional and social life.
Stage 6 Young Adulthood
Person tries to develop close personal relationships.
Stage 7 Middle Adulthood
Individuals look outside self and cares for others, often through grandparenting or volunteering.
Stage 8 Late adulthood
Person tries to understand meaning of own life.
