Dear JUHSD Community,
Happy New Year!
I welcome you back to school and to a new year filled with hope, blessings, and new opportunities.
As we embark on our second semester, I encourage you to place a high importance on health. As you are aware, COVID-19 cases are on the rise and the contagious Omicron variant is spreading throughout the Bay Area. Please note that there are several items in today's update that focus on COVID.
I am linking the messages that I have sent to our District community in the past week, for your convenience. You may find them by clicking here. I have not addressed quarantine time, as the guidance for schools may change. Until that time, we continue to follow the quarantine guidance that we have posted on our website.
As always, I thank you for supporting our amazing District and I thank our staff for their dedication and hard work in these challenging times. I look forward to a healthy and happy new year.
